When I think of Sister Darlene, I think of times in the nineties when she selected a group of us as singers to travel on road trips to various congregations to sing in a small choral group. We would not sit down much of the trip; we would rehearse nearly all the way there, and when we would arrive and begin singing, she'd say" Now I know that you all got this, you've sung it all the way here.!" I'll always remember her zeal and perky personality. We are praying for you because she will be greatly missed.
