Joel Vincent Boone

Joel Vincent Boone was the youngest son of Benjamin and Linda Boone. Who was born a year and ten days after Calvin Boone on July 23, 1963. Ben and Linda had there three musketeers, Leonard, Calvin, and Joel, who she would try to dress alike even as they grew into manhood. But the three could not be more different. Joel always moved to a beat of a different drum. Joel could be seen around the neighborhood when he was young with Karate sticks imitating Bruce Lee. He loved Martial Arts Movies and imitating Bruce Lee. He modeled for a time and was always the jokester. Even in his illness, he would crack jokes to cover the pain. He really enjoyed working hard and was proud of being a Driver taking customers to their medical appointments. Joel was the “clutch guy” who when you were in a pinch, you could call on in the last minute to help you move, drive, or whatever you needed.

His affectionate smile and laugh will be missed by his two older brothers: Leonard Boone, Calvin (Meredith) Boone, his Sister: Alicia Boone, his children: Desmond Boone, LaToya Johnson, Christoper Boone, Maylene Brooks, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. You are now at peace our love.
