Obituary for Annette Jones

Annette Jones, age 63, of Bolingbrook, Illinois, passed away on September 23, 2025.

Annette was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who dedicated her life to caring for others. She was the proud mother of her daughter, Aisha Jones, and adoptive children, Charles Jones, the late Lonnie Jones, and Ava Jones. She was also a cherished grandmother to Dereon Jones, Randell Ellis, and Charlie Jones, and a devoted godmother to Tiffany.

Family meant everything to Annette. She found joy in bringing everyone together for her famous “family game nights,” where laughter, food, and love filled the room. Her home was always a place of warmth, welcome, and togetherness.

For many years, Annette owned and operated a home daycare center, where she touched the lives of countless children and families with her kindness and dedication. She was also a devoted woman of faith, serving under the leadership of Pastor Jack Johnson.

She is survived by her children, Aisha Jones, Charles Jones, and Ava Jones; her grandchildren, Dereon Jones, Randell Ellis, and Charlie Jones; her goddaughter, Tiffany; her siblings, Joann Sparks Watson, Michelle Jones, Willie Jones, and Moab Jones; her special friends, Mike and Darryl; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved her deeply.

Annette was preceded in death by her parents, Pearlene Jones and Willie Johnson; her siblings, Johnny Jones and Alisha Callahan; and her son, Lonnie Jones.

Annette’s legacy of love, laughter, faith, and family will live on in the hearts of all who knew how.
