Ardrena Betts

Ardrena “Drena” Rolling, a beloved mother, grandmother, devoted sister, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2025, in Berwyn, Illinois, at the age of 79. Born on September 14, 1946, in Chicago IL., 

Drena was the youngest of two daughters born to Marsetter and Leflora (Marshall) Rolling, both of whom preceded her in death. At the age of twelve, Drena accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, marking a steadfast commitment to her faith that lasted throughout her life. 

Drena dedicated 30 years of her career to the U.S. Post Office’s Bulk Mail Center before retiring. Beyond her professional life, she was a woman who loved excitement and family. She was an avid Keno and Bingo player, always seeking a bit of fun. A devoted fan of the Chicago Bears, she also enjoyed exploring new restaurants and spending precious time with her grandchildren, who were the center of her world. 

 She is survived by her two loving sons, Lamont G. Belk (Tiffany) and Rodney L. Betts. She leaves behind four devoted grandchildren, Mytika, Brian, Kamren, and Kailey, and one great-grandchild, Zaymon. She is also fondly remembered by her nieces, Charmaine and Cherylease, her nephew, Kelvin (Mamie), and a host of extended family and dear friends. Drena was preceded in death by her parents, Marsetter and Leflora Rolling; her sister, Floretha “Flo” Rolling; and her grandson, Christian Belk.
