Celebrating the Life of a Vibrant Spirit: Deborah "Debbie" Marie Rembert**

Deborah Marie Rembert, known affectionately as "Debbie" or "TeeTee," danced through life with unparalleled energy and enthusiasm until June 27, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 17, 1962, in Maywood, IL to Joseph and Jeanette Rembert, Debbie's jokes laughter and love have left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Sharing a birthdate with her late brother Joseph, Debbie's life was punctuated by joy and the bonds of family. She carried forward this legacy through her education, graduating from Washington Elementary in 1976 and Proviso East High School in 1980. Her pursuit of knowledge continued at Benedictine University , where she proudly earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and graduated “magna cu laude” of her class.

Debbie's faith journey began at a tender age at the Second Baptist Church, baptized by the Reverend Wallace Sykes, before she found her spiritual home at Rock of Ages Baptist Church with Pastor Marvin Wiley.

An unstoppable force of nature, Debbie was known for her work ethic and creativity and fashion sense. Taking after her father, June, she possessed remarkable carpentry skills, coupled with the loving selflessness she inherited from her mother, Jeanette. To her nieces, Euneke and Joi Rembert, Debbie became a second mom, guiding them with love and wisdom.

Throughout her career, Debbie made her mark at Holiday Inn, UPS, and finally at Hines VA Hospital, retiring in 2025 as a Management and Program Analyst for the Logistics Department. Her devotion to her family was unmatched, particularly the bond she shared with her mother, who was her world.

Debbie joins her father Joseph Rembert Jr , brother Joseph Keith Rembert, and aunts Annie Covington, Fannie Mae Richie, Carrole Smith and Dorothy Rembert in eternal peace. Her generous spirit and warm heart live on through her beloved mother Jeanette; her nieces-turned-daughters, Euneke and Joi; great-nephew Ferris Howard and great-niece Zion Joey Smith; aunts Shirley , Sandra, and Daryl and Debra; godchildren Ashya Winters and Kennedy Holiday; best friends Lynda and Tammy; and her large extended family and many friends.

Debbie's vibrant spirit, love, and laughter will forever echo in the hearts of all she touched. Her legacy will continue to inspire joy and a zest for life in everyone blessed to have known and loved her.
