En Route To Home
Ella Brown's journey started on January 23, 1959 the day she was born to Constance Marie Lawson and Acie Austin, in Evanston IL.
Ella excepted Christ and was baptized at a very early age. She grew up in Mt Caramel Baptist Church in Evanston IL, where she loved to sing in the choir, as she got older she visited Greater Open Door Church.
Ella attended William Penn Elementary School and graduated from Farragut high school in 1977.
In the midst of her journey, Ella met and married Walter T. Brown Jr. In 1978 and in their union, Walter T. Brown 3rd.was born.
Later in life Ella married her childhood friend Dillard Child's.
Ella started her employment journey at Burger King, Browns Chicken and them took flight with United Airlines until her Departure.
Ella loved to travel, she loved it SO much that she lived all over the world! She lived in Germany, California, Louisiana, Baltimore, and Alabama. She visited Hawaii and had plans to visit Australia. Ella's favorite place to visit was Chicago, back home with her family friends and of course her Farragut Alumni.
On 11-20-2022 Ella journey ended yet began, she heard the voice of God say "Come Home I've prepared a place for you!"
Ella was proceeded in death by her loving parents Acie Austin and Constance Marie Lawson her grandparents Virgil and Ella Ruth Massie.
