Michael Ward Beasley, the 4th child of Ward Lee Beasley and Bernadette Odum Beasley, was born on October 12, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois.

Michael attended and graduated from Walt Disney Magnet School (1985) and Whitney Young High School (1989). He furthered his education at Clark Atlanta and Florida A&M Universities. Michael was baptized at Apostolic Church of God in Chicago. He was a past member Jehovah Shammah Lodge #901, Lee Cross Grand Council ancient and excepted Mason. Michael was employed at Jay-S Medicar until they went out of business.

Michael was charismatic, free spirited, a good listener and had a loving personality. Michael always said he loved you before he left your presence. He was jovial and his comedic heart spoke volumes. Michael had a smile that would light up a room, and he touched the lives of so many. He was a great father to his daughter, Justise, whom he loved dearly. She was his inspiration/pride and joy. Michael unconditionally loved his mother who was always there for him. His brother and sisters were a special part of his life as well as his nieces and nephews.
Michael was a sports fan. As a child he played basketball, baseball and football. His love of sports carried over into his adult life. He always enjoyed opening up his home to family and friends to watch televised games.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Ward Beasley. He leaves to cherish his memory: His mother, Bernadette Beasley; Daughter, Justise Beasley; Siblings; Latonya Lane (Shelly), Staci Washington (Calvin), and Jeffrey Beasley (Heather); Uncle, Charles Odum; Aunts; Carol Johnson, Johnita Beasley, Rochelle Odum, and Hazel Odum; Nieces and Nephews; Shelly III, Afton, Cole (Micah), Ivy, Chase, Chandler, Sydnei, Connor, Myles, Chloe; And a host of cousins and friends that meant the world to him.
