Nora Lee Spearman was born In Greenwood Mississippi. The second child of Charles Lee and Magnolia Spearman.
At an early age Nora accepted Christ in her life to whom she believed and trusted.
Nora and her family moved to The South Side of Chicago Illinois, seeking better opportunities. She united with Greater Faith M.B.C. and later joined Pleasant Green M.B.C under the leadership of Reverend Matthews. Where she served as a dedicated member of the choir.
In 1967 Nora had her first and only child Alvin and later married Robert Morris she was a mother figure to all that knew her Nora was sweet and kind but didn’t take no mess she was a classy lady that loved to dress and with her love for fashion she found a career in management for retail. Nora worked diligently for years at York’s Clothing Store which later became Rainbow Fashion where she retired.
Norah was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Magnolia her husband Robert and son Alvin two sisters Dorothy and Bertha one brother Charles.
Nora leaves to cherish her role as the matriarch of a large family to her siblings CL (Gloria) Spearman, Robert Spearman, Suzanne (Scorpio) Williams, Pamela Spearman, Jerran (Sabrina) Spearman, Carl (Patricia) Spearman, Kim Spearman and Tamara Spearman, Grandchildren: Arian, Brianna, Mercedes and Diamond, 9 Great Grandchildren, 1 Goddaughter Kristie and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends
