Pamela Hastings (Nannybug- given by her father) was born on March 31, 1961 to the union of Joseph Hastings Jr and Myrtle Lee Hastings who both proceeded her in death. Pamela was the fourth child to this Union of nine. Pamela attended Gage park in Chicago, IL where she was liked by all peers. She loved to participate in plays at school where she showcased her dancing skills especially her famous robot dance.
Pamela had a great work ethic, she worked at Starbucks for 24 years where she thrived as a barista. She genuinely loved her job and the people she met along the way. Pamela loved to travel and go places with her family. She was the most protecting, loving, strong and the funniest person you will have ever met.
Pamela leaves behind to cherish in memory her two daughters Laketa Shealon Hastings and Shanice Renae Mitchell, three grandchildren: Destiny Angel Mabry, Alicia Joel Mabry and Gi’Vonni Sajo Clinton Brown. Her siblings Rosemary Cheatham, Gregory Hastings, Gary “Wayne” Hastings, Denise Michelle Hastings (who all proceeded her in death), Sheila Spicer, Shirlon Hastings, Brooks Hastings, Sherri Hastings and Krystal Hastings. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
