Reginald Morrison graced the world on October 27, 1953. He was the second born of Four children to Roosevelt and Mildred L. Morrison in Chicago, Illinois. He attended John Marshall Harlan High School class of 1972 and also attended Olive Harvey Community College. Reginald was a dedicated employee of the City of Chicago Department of Streets and Sanitation, licensed environmental remediation worker and CDL Licensed truck driver. During his time working in his various professions he received numerous awards and citations recognizing his outstanding work. It was often said by employers and co-works "that no one could out work Reggie.

Reginald was a veteran who served in both the United States Army and Navy and received an Honorable Discharge from both branches of services. During his services in the Army he qualified as a military marksman. He was a very approachable and open person, which made him easy to talk with and relate to. He had an unconquerable spirit, which allowed him to live his life under his own terms, without fear or regret and he boldly pursued his dreams and followed the beat of his own drum, which endeared him to friends and family.

Reginald was extremely creative and artistically gifted. He loved painting and creating jewelry. He had a passion for music and loved to play and listen to it. His favorite artist was Jimi Hendrix. He was a self trained musician who could play multiple instruments by ear, with his favorite instrument being the guitar. He loved to laugh and spend time with family and friends at events and cook outs. Reggie loved to prepare meals as much as he loved to eat them and he truly knew how to enjoy himself and have a good time. He was preceded in death by his mother Mildred L. Morrison, brother Rodney G. Morrison and sister Cathy Y. Morrison.

He was at peace with the understanding that God was in control and that his will shall be done in his divine order. Suddenly and unexpectedly God chose to call him home. He was found at his home with his beloved pet dog "Bear" at his side on June 22, 2020. Morrison, nephews Cody G, Morrison Sr, Derrick Morrison Jr and grand nephew Cody G. Morrison Jr., and treasured other extended faithful family and friends who will always keep his loving memory in their hearts.
