Richard Shenault

September 29, 1957 — March 5, 2020

Richard O’Brian Shenault was born on September 29, 1957 in Chicago, IL to the union of Alex and Genola Williams. He was the third of ten children. Preceding him in death were both parents Alex and Genola, one brother Steve, and one sister Brenda. Richard attended Beethoven Elementary School. He was a graduate of Fenger High School. Richard worked for Edsall Manufacturing Company. His attendance record was stellar. Richard strive to be on time daily and worked with integrity. He held his position as an assembly worker for more than 13 years, until his declining health forced him to retire.

Richard was an active member at Trinity All Nations Church. He served as a devoted usher and assisted with the needs of the church. Richard was steadfast in his devotion to Christ. He was a quiet man of few words (that is until you struck the wrong nerve and made him mad). Richard loved to dress up and had matching shoes to every suit. His pants had to be starched and creased to perfection (or stiff as his nieces and nephews teased). Richard enjoyed listening to jazz music, dancing, and taking long walks in the early morning hours.

Scripture

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted. Ecclesiastes 3: 1-3 NIV
