Obituary Roosevelt Montague Jr. also known as “RO” was born January 28, 1949 along with a twin sister Rosemary to the union of Roosevelt Sr. and Ella Montague. He was one of ten children. He was married at a young age to Betty Towns. Then he met Marilyn Monterano. He later married Mary Emery. Later in life he met and stayed with Beverly McKay. He was a father of nine children.

Ro accepted Christ as his savior at a young age, becoming a member of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Green. He later joined Greater Mount Moriah Church under the fellowship of Pastor Andrea Abrams. Ro graduated from Crane High School. Upon graduation he was drafted into the US Army. Roosevelt took pride in serving his country in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged with the rank of SPC4. Ro worked and retired from Login Bres. Medical Book Company after 18 years. His past time included cooking and watching any sport events.
