Sarah Pauline Madlock was born in Batesville Mississippi on June 8, 1941. She was the 8th child to be born to the late Jessie and Hattie Madlock.
Sarah attended Batesville school in Batesville, Mississippi. She later relocated to Chicago Illinois in 1959. She confessed her life to christ at New Hope Missionary baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Carl Kindard in 1979. She later joined New Horizon Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Carl Hopson in 1982. Where she was a faithful member until her health begin to fail. She was an avid worker of the community and church. Sarah was known for her beautiful smile , always bringing warmth and laughter to everyone she encountered.
Sarah was a loving mother, grandmother , Beloved Sister, Aunt, Cousin and manny friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, shopping and playing her numbers. Sarah was called to eternal rest on Saturday, December 10, 2022. Sarah will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sarah was a devoted mother to six childrens. She is preceded in death by her Father, Jessie B. Madlock; Mother, Hattie Mary Madlock; two sons, Glenn and Steve Madlock; two Grandsons; Willett and Kevin, two brothers, Walter and Lewis Madlock, Three sisters; Lucy Robinson, Lebirta Towns and Martha Mae Spearman. Sarah leaves to cherish her memories: Three loving daughters, Suzette, Effie and Mashawn (Adrian) Madlock and son Quentin; Sisters, Eva Washington, Pearl Reeves, Willie Mae (Jerry) Dees: Brother, Jessie Madlock: Grandchildren: Jarrett, Monica, Bryant, Steve Jr, Whitney, William, Michelle, Michael, Bianca, Brittany, Darion, Adriana, Adina, Aaliyah and Aloria and Kyle Henderson a special nephew like a son, 28 great grandchildrens, A life long friend Annette Fondren, Special and close friends, Ms. Wheeler, Ms. Jordan, Ms. Jones, Ms. Doyle and Ms. Effie Hampton and many nieces, nephews and a host of beloved relatives and friends.
