Sylvester Webber Jr

April 21, 1983 — July 20, 2025

On April 21, 1983, Sylvester Webber Sr. and Gillie Webber were overjoyed to finally welcome their youngest son, Sylvester Webber Jr., after having five daughters in a row. With a loving mom and five protective sisters, Jr. proudly said he had six mamas.

He attended Donald L. Morrill Elementary School where he formed lifelong friendships and later became a proud “Curie Condor”, graduating as a part of Class of 2001. 

After high school, Jr. jumped straight into the family trade, working as a Union Laborer at Walsh Construction for over 20 years. He later earned his B.S. in Construction Management from Westwood College in 2010. In 2019, he found joy in teaching hands-on construction skills at a local trade school before the program ended due to COVID-19.

In 2020, Jr. co-founded The Webber Group LLC with his sister Salisia, managing construction projects across the Midwest part of the United States. He proudly remodeled his sister Cheryl’s salon in 2022. In 2023, Jr. moved to Sacramento, California and launched SWJR Trucking LLC, continuing his drive for growth and entrepreneurship.

Jr. was a man of many passions, he loved playing basketball, and everyone knew that LeBron James was his all-time favorite NBA player. He had a lifelong love of cars and throughout his life he proudly owned over 35 vehicles. Jr.'s life was also brightened by his fur babies, Gigi and Rozay, his cherished French Bulldogs, who brought him endless joy andcompanionship.

Sylvester Webber Jr. departed this life on Sunday, July 20, 2025. He will always be known for his infectious laugh and his love for video games. He loved supporting his family and showing up for his nieces and nephews’ events. He was outgoing and loved spending time with his friends. Everyone knew that his mother was his favorite girl. 

Sylvester Webber Jr., leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, siblings, a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and many friends.
