Alvin Henry Sr.

Alvin “Big Al” Henry Sr. departed on April 25, 2021 at the age of 54 in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois. During his battle with serious medical issues in recent years he showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain,

Alvin came out a hero and stayed strong until the day he was able to gain his wings in heaven. As a young man, Alvin grew up in a house full of love with his mother (Dollie V. Henry), Farther (Billy J. Henry Sr.), and a host of sisters and brothers (nieces and nephews).

Alvin graduated from Simeon high school with his hometown friends. In fact, after high school he went on to Southern State University. After school Alvin began creating a beautiful family. Tyrell, Darnell, Alvin Jr. (his oldest son), Amber (his oldest daughter), Alvin III, Alvin IV, Gloria, Aleisha, Jordan, And Malik in addition to many grandchildren. He will forever be in our hearts, always.
