Brandtrell Schaffer Obituary

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” -Romans 6:23

Brandtrell Schaffer affectionately known as “Trell” was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 9, 1996, to Tiki Howard and Brandy Schaffer.

Trell was born and raised on the westside of Chicago. Although at the time of death Trell had no affiliations with a church, one thing for certain and two things for sure he was a strong believer. He attended Dvorak Elementary School, and received his high school diploma from CCA High School. After graduating high school he started his career with “State Wide Security Company” where he was still employed.

Trell had a smile that was so contagious. He had many attributes, but one that will live on forever is his love for fashion. Gaining the nickname “Mr. Put It On” because you knew when you invited him out he would dress in designer from head to toe and no colors was off limits. Trell also was a protector and the backbone for his loving mother and sisters.

On November 28, 2021, he boarded “Flight 3:15” with a one-way ticket non-Stop in First Class. There to greet him on the other side was his grandmother Anna Howard; grand fathers Larry Holden and Calvin Howard; great-grandmother Mozella Miller; great-grandfather Jimmie Fox; aunt Caroline Howard; sister Amia Eames; cousins Willie Williams, Willie Miller, and Mario Snow. Trell leaves to cherish his memories: his mother Tiki Howard; his father Brandy Schaffer; his step-father Richard Eames; grandmother Alvina Schaffer; grandfather Jesse White; sisters Kewana, Ameria, Armoney, Ameia, Starsha, Brilayah, Ashley, India, Rally, and Anissah; brothers Brandy, Debrantae, Aluntae, Deangelo, Jacquez, Rashad, Richard, Ayden, and Angelo Eames; aunts Tanya, Nakia, Mahogany, Alvina, and Shymeka; uncles Calvin, Willie, Gino, Lafeyette, Cedric, Trance, Jason, Jermain, Damien, Demetrius, Jesse, Cordel, and Shamari; god-sisters Kendra and Kireatha; significant-other Jasmine Johnson; special-friends Jamyrra, and Ashawn; and a host of great aunts/uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
