Jeffrey Powell

Jeffrey Powell was born on May 13, 1978 in Maywood, Illinois to the parents of Frederick Powell and Carolyn Powell.  Jeffrey went home to be with the king on December 8, 2018 at the age of 40. He gave his life to the lord at an early age.  He attended Proviso West High School.

Jeff enjoyed playing basketball, softball, bowling, and video games.  He loved watching football and playing in his fantasy league. He loved all his queens (daughters). He loved to sing even though he had no tune and never knew the words, but he made us laugh when he put his own words in the song.  He loved trying new recipes for the grill to compete with his brothers.  Anyone that knew Jeff knew how competitive he was.

Jeffrey leaves to cherish his memories his wife Nikkiba Jones-Powell, three loving daughters Lyric Powell, Journey Powell, and Nakayla Powell, parents Frederick Powell and Carolyn Powell –Bibb, stepfather Michael Bibb, two loving brothers Frederick Powell Jr. and Eric Powell, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
