John Lewis Brown Jr.

John Lewis Brown Jr. was born on September 26, 1956, in Chicago, IL. to John Lewis Brown Sr. and Melinda Ford-Brown. John was the 5th child out of 8 children. John accepted Christ at a young age. He attended Universal Baptist Church of Chicago, IL. John was educated at Crane High Schools in Chicago, IL.

In 1998 he Married Cassandra F. Robinzine. John and Cassandra enjoyed 23 years of marriage and 18 years of friendship. He was always full of energy and enthusiasm. John wore many hats father, husband, brother, uncle, grandfather, and a friend. He had several jobs in the Chicago, IL region starting at the young age of 10 at Chicago Public Schools.

John also worked multiply jobs in Chicago, IL. Including Skill Power Tools, CCX Trucking Company and owned a private truck company J&S Expedited, where he retired after 25 years of service. John & Cassandra also was a pillar to the lake county community for over 20 years with providing childcare services to several generations of children.

He enjoyed sharing knowledge and ideas on many levels and was very generous to lend a helping hand. John is preceded in death by his father John Lewis Brown Sr., and one brother James Brown. On Wednesday February 9th, 2022, God called John home to glory. John leaves to cherish precious memories, his loving wife Cassandra F. Robinzine-Brown, One Son John Brown III, Three Daughters Tanesha Winters, Josslynn Brown (Miriah Powell-Brown), and Monique Swanson (Jonathan Swanson). Five Grandchildren Miante, Taylor, Cierra, Jace, and Meila. 4 Sisters Ruth, Rosea, Linda, Lori, 2 Brothers Dave, and Dennis. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
