Nevaeh Zariel Austin-Hale, affectionally know as “Vaeh” was born September 15, 2006 in Chicago, IL to Shenea Austin.

Nevaeh was christened at New Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Ella Flag Young Elementary school where she graduated from kindergarten. Nevaeh went on to graduate from 8th grade at Southwood Middle School.

She started her high school career at Rich Township High School. Nevaeh liked to attend after school programs and was a member of the girls basketball team. Vaeh loved to dance and make Tik Toks. She loved to cook, EAT, do her hair, nails, make-up. She was such a DIVA. She didn’t play when it came to her looks. She was over protective about family. Nevaeh didn’t turn down a fun time, she knew how to have a good time. She was a supervisor of the kids, making sure they did all the chores while she did nothing lol Nevaeh had a special spark to her, a light that shined so bright. She was always so dependable, so vivacious and full of life.

Nevaeh lived her life with no regrets, always expressing herself through her words, the way she styled her hair, dressed, and wore her makeup. She had so many dreams, so many goals, so many plans on becoming an entrepreneur, wanting to own her own full service hair salon and gong off to college to get her degree in business. She marched to the beat of her own drums. Nevaeh touched the hearts of many by beings a loving, sweet, caring young lady. She always cared about the feelings of the people she loved most.

Nevaeh parents and siblings love her dearly. Being the leader of the family, she called all the shots as they followed her lead.

On Sunday January 22, 2023 at 8:59 am Nevaeh was called home to gain her heavenly wings into eternal life. Nevaeh was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents Bennie Washington and Billie Jean Austin. Her maternal great uncles Louis “Ray” Smith and William Austin Sr. Nevaeh leaves to forever cherish her memory; her mother Shenea Austin, her father Calvin Hale; her siblings Kh’Myri Hale, Calvin Hale Jr and Ca’Ron Hale; her grandparents, Darlene Lockett, Darryl Austin, Calvin and Brenda Hale; her Uncles Timothy Washington, Darien Washington, and Robert Joyce; her Aunties Tiffany Hale, LaQuisha Brown and Asha Nichols; her God-mother De’Tisha Joy Page; her special cousin Niakesha Thomas; her great-grandmother Eva Washington and a host of close cousins, relatives, and friends.
