Susan Marie Orr - Mitros

Susan Marie Orr-Mitros was born on June 19, 1959 in Chicago Illinois to the union of Darlene Sickles Orr-Yurus and Oscar Willard Orr. She was the second of four children.

On August 20th 1976, Susan united in holy matrimony to the love of her life Gregory Mitros in Chicago IL, and to that union their three beautiful children were born Kimberly, Thomas, and Robert.

Susan loved her family in her own way, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren Cheyenne (Trey), Aiyana, TJ, Illiana, Aubrey and Eleni.

On January 26, 2021 Susan finished her journey in life surrounded by her family. Where they find comfort through the pain knowing she is at peace.

Susan is preceded in death by her husband Gregory and leaves to cherish her memory her children Kimberly (Scott) Smith, Thomas Mitros Sr, and Robert Mitros. Her Grandchildren Cheyenne (Trey) Tyler, Aiyana Smith, Thomas Mitros Jr, and Illiana Smith. Her Great Grandchildren Aubrey Tyler and Eleni Tyler. Her Siblings Curt Orr, Patricia Schultz, and Burt (Amy) Orr.

When I come to the end of my journey

And I travel my last weary mile,

Forget that I ever had a heartache

And remember I’ve had loads of fun.

Forget that I have stumbled and blundered

And sometimes fell by the way.

Remember I have fought some hard battles and won,

Then forget to grieve for my going,

I would not have you sad for a day,

But in the summer just gather some flowers

And Remember the place where I lay

And come in the evening

When the sun paints the sky in the west,

Stand for a few moments besides me

And remember only my best.
